Eugene Stegner left Payette last Sunday afternoon in response to a telegram 
received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Stegner, announcing the death of 
their only daughter.  She has been ill for some time but the last report has 
been that she was better.  This makes the sorrow doubly hard and added to that 
is the fact that there are three motherless little girls, the youngest fourteen 
months.  Mr. and Mrs. Stegner were not physically able to stand a Minnesota 
winter, so could not go.  The three children and their father will probably 
come to be with Mr. and Mrs. Stegner for a while.
