Purcell and C. H. Baldwin To Erect One at Probable Cost of $12,000. Payette is to have that much needed improvement a fine new hotel with first- class accommodations. It is to be erected by Marion Purcell and C. H. Baldwin of this city at a probable cost of from $10,000 to $12,000, or more when finally completed. The site is centrally located being on the corner of Broad and Commercial streets, just north of the old Reed drug store building, not quite two blocks from the depot. The property consists of two lots, all of which will be taken up by the building, making it 60x145 feet. The building will be of brick, two stories high, and of an up-to-date architectural design for hotel purposes. The ground is now being cleared for the foundation and it is understood the contract for active construction work will be let in the near future after which the building will be pushed to completion.
