This week the INDEPENDENT office turned out a handsome line of printing for the 
First Annual Commencement of the Payette High School, to be held on the evening 
of May 31st.  The Class Register for 1895, is composed of the following 
pupils:  Emma F. Taylor, Lizzie M. Johnson, Alice H. Luty, Alice R. Bartch, 
Ralph C. Holland and Malcom W. Hezeltine.  Under the superintendency of Prof. 
M. F. Albert the Payette schools are making remarkable progress, and with a 
public-spirited school board such as this district has had for the past few 
years to look after the educational interests, there is no reason why Payette 
should be become known throughout the state for its excellent school 
facilities.  It will be so, if we, as a people, do all in our power to 
encourage the work.
