First Burial Held At Rosedale Memorial Park

The burial of S. S. Hill, 60 year resident of Oregon Slope, Friday, at Rosedale 
Memorial Park marked the first interment in the new cemetery.  Mr. Hill was 
buried in one of the two family plots purchased recently by Mr. Hill’s son 
Frank of Oregon Slope.  The chime tower in the new cemetery has reached a 
height of 40 feet, some shrubbery is in, fences and roads are built and the 
lagoon in constructed, according to Roger Murphy, manager.
