Payette, Sept. 27 -- Judge Standrod and Mr. Bruner spoke to a large and 
appreciative audience in Lamme hall last night.
 
A special meeting of the stockholders of the Noble Ditch company, limited, was 
held in Lamme hall today to consider the action of the directors in making an 
assessment of $1 and to act on the proposal to issue bonds to finish the work 
now in progress.  After a great deal of talk power was given to the directors 
to act.
