S. Lamme's Store and while one engaged Frank Creighton in conversation the other proceeded to help himself to a new suit of tailor made clothes, putting them in a mackintosh which he carried on his arm. The clerk suspected the fellow and ordered him to shake out the mackintosh which he did the clothes falling on the floor. Then the clerk opened the door telling them to get, which they did. F. C. Moss has left for his mine in Long Valley. Walter Dunn and wife are at the Gilmore house. A. E. Wood and party are back from Long Valley. Charles Bussy and John McGlinchey returned from the Salmon Meadow hot springs last evening. Judge G. H. Stewart has been engaged to deliver the (unreadable) here the Fourth. This alone will bring out a large crowd. Julian Losey is dead at Ontario and will be buried Sunday by the Masonic lodge. Jim Timberline, while wrestling, was thrown so hard that his shoulder bone was broken. A. W. Ayres of Big Willow creek was in town today.
