Grothe, who has been dangerously sick, caused by a bad operation for appendicitis, at Silno, Mexico, is, in a recent letter, reported out of danger. Mrs. Emma Marquardsen and son arrived last evening from The Dalles, Ore., and will visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Plattern. L. S. Soule returned to Emmett this morning.
