R. Banks is building a second story to his saloon on main street. Brick laying commenced this morning. Mrs. O. W. Athey and daughter returned to Boise on this evening's train. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Whitney went to Caldwell this evening. C. E. Brainard went to Boise for a few days. Frank Ogg left on No. 6 for Stockham, Neb., to be gone several months visiting his sister and other friends. Mrs. William Noot, Sr., of Nampa, is a Payette visitor today. Ed Pence, son of Hon. Peter Pence is in from his Big Willow creek ranch. Ed is building a fine residence. Rumors say he will occupy it with a bride soon.
