S. Thurston and family left last evening for an outing at Cuddy mountain, north of Salubria. Professor Forbes returned yesterday from Big Bend on Snake River and reports no drilling done there yet. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Reed have gone to Baker City to visit Mr. Reed's parents. Sam E. Chapman, the O.S.L. agent, has got a vacation for a month and will take his family for an outing. Mr. W. I. Strachan formerly at Winnipeg, Canada, will be express and Fred. Van Doozer ticket agent during Mr. Chapman's absence. H.M. Williams went to Boise on No. 6 today.
