Lamme left today for the Deadman Hot Springs to obtain relief from the rheumatism. Knute Lian, who has been clerk at the Hotel Idaho, left on the eastbound train for Shoshone where he will take a position as night clerk in one of the hotels of that place. J. B. Burns and family left this morning for the Salmon Meadows, Payette lakes and the Long Valley country. J. M. Shaw of New Plymouth was selling very choice apples here this afternoon. Ezra W. McCasline of Martinsville, Ind., arrived this morning. Judge J. T. Clement of Ontario was a Payette visitor today. W. R. Whipple was in from the bench yesterday and reports that T. R. Hubbard had sold his improved 40 acres and all crops on it to D. Stegner for $5000 cash and another man recently sold 80 acres unimproved land in that vicinity for $4500 cash.
