FROM PAYETTE
 
Payette, May 15 -- J.H. Washburn, late of Waterloo, Iowa, commenced the 
foundation for a 5-room cottage on Boise street and Payette avenue.
 
C.H. Bussy is building an addition to his residence on Park street.
 
Elmer and Albert Bell returned from Silver City last evening, where they have 
been working for the past year.
 
Dr. A. F. Isham is down from Caldwell.
 
Cyril Barbeau of Tiffin, Ohio, and Jacob Franze and wife from Frauze, Minn., 
are late arrivals looking for homes.
 
William Walls is in from the upper Crane creek country and reports all quiet.
 
W.L. Ryder left on No 6 for Boise to spend a few days.
