A letter was received a few days ago from Harry Pence giving an account of a very rich strike made on the properties owned by Sam Wilson, Warren Helm, and Charles Ellison, a short distance from the Pence locations, the ore that was found easily going $12 to the pound and a specimen that came with the letter will go more than $20. William Wall returned this morning from Kansas City, where he went some time ago with several cars of horses. Hans Corup of Weiser is practicing with and will go to Boise with the Pay-Kid band on Labor Day. Several cars of fine mutton sheep are here ready to be shipped.
