Mrs. John Shorts, Jr., of Chicago, is visiting friends here. Miss Laura Rand has returned from Weiser. Lair Swormstedt of Houstonia, Mo., a friend and schoolmate of the Napton boys, is here for a short visit. Mrs. W. A. Coughanour arrived on the westbound from Silver City. Rube Morton, Lizzie Butler, John Kelley, Lena Millegan?, Willie Stephenson and Cleo Moore were a jolly party of Ontario young folks who took supper at Hotel Idaho last night. One hundred and forty crates of cantaloupes were shopped from here today and 35 boxes of apples.
