In all probability Payette will soon have a new creamery to take the place of the one destroyed by fire some months ago. C. G. Prescott of Portland, Or., is here meeting the farmers and making arrangements to have them furnish the necessary cream if the plant should be installed. It has been said that a considerable number of Jersey milch cows will be brought into the Valley for the purpose. The exact site for the creamery has not been decided on, but it is likely that it will be at the corner of Broad street and Grand avenue where the old Herrington second hand store was located.
