Sherman post, by W. C. Maxey and George Little of Caldwell, assisted by H. F. Reel. The officers elected are J. H. Shawhan, post-commander; S. W. Ruse, S.V.C.; J. W. Jimerson J.V.C; A. H. More, Q. M.; S. F. Taylor, chaplain; D. W. Smith, sergeant; A. B. Moss, officer of the day; F. A. Dory, O.G.; Dr. F. D. DeLano, adjutant. The post will have a membership of 22 at the first meeting, which will be held on the second Saturday in February. But very few knew that A. B. Moss was an old Veteran, as he did not think that running away from home and serving six months as a drummer boy entitled him to that honor.
