Honor Roll Is Announced

Thirty six students are on the honor roll for the first six weeks term.  To be 
awarded high honors a pupil must have only A’s and B’s and at least two A’s.  
The requirements for honors is nothing lower than a B.  Those receiving high 
honors are:  seniors; Margaret Cornelius, Lucille May, Maxine Miller, Bethel 
Stanton;  juniors; Barbara Peterson, Martin Walpert;  sophomores; Vernon 
Daniels, Edith Jamison, Dale Kirk, Martha Manser, Mildred Miller;  freshman; 
Alice Ashcroft, Glen Bertleson, Lillian Cheek, Verle DeBord, Lillian Ferrel, 
Ellyne Hallman, Lorraine Jones, La Velle Olson, and Jack Pence.  

Those receiving honors were:  Seniors; Forest Winch; juniors; Margaret Precht; 
sophomores; Floyd Banks, Doris Beeler, Mary K. Donaldson, Genevieve Horden, 
Ruby Meyers, Ardinelle Stauff, Alta Stewart, Virginia Stewart, Lois Stroup; 
freshman; Margaret Bradley, Catherine Dean, Alan Hose, Eula Killebrew, Helen 
Steigerwalt, and George Wren.
