Payette's new hotel has been named the "Hotel Bancroft," in honor of the late vice-president and general manager of the Oregon Short Line Railroad, W. H. Bancroft, deceased. The new Hostelry will be ready for occupancy about October first and a lease has been secured on the same by Mr. Will Reilly, who for more than five years past has been proprietor of the Commercial Hotel in this city. Mrs. Reilly and Mr. J. A. Lauer will go to Portland the last of this week where they will make the selections of the most modern furniture for the entire building.
