A neat job of painting is being done on the church by Wm. Ory. We need at once $100 to complete the tower and three single windows to be donated at $25 each. This would enable us to dedicate the building at the meeting of the Association, September 25. Revs. DeGroff and Johnson, missionaries of the American Sunday School Union were in Payette last Sunday. Mr. Johnson preached in the Baptist church and Mr. DeGroff in the Presbyterian church. The Baptist people and congregation very much appreciate the beautiful spirit of the Presbyterian church in putting in a window in our church in memory of Mrs. Davy. We also appreciate the kindness of the friends who gave the other windows and those who have helped us in various ways with the building. The pastor will preach next Sunday morning on, “The Wayside Hearer,” Evening subject, “Seeking After God.” The pastor will endeavor to speak helpfully to those who desire to be saved. Our choir is giving us some beautiful songs from the new books. The new members of the choir add much to this part of the service. A kindly invitation to all. THE PASTOR.
