PINKHAM APPOINTED Joseph Pinkham has been appointed assayer-in-charge of the Boise assay office by President Roosevelt, to succeed H. Smith Wooley, who was discharged because of irregularities. Mr. Pinkham is a sterling, pioneer citizen of the state, and a Republican well worthy of the position conferred upon him. He has many friends in the Payette Valley who will join in extending congratulations.
