Mr. A. Grothe called the meeting to order, Miss A. O. Grothe read a communication from the Woman’s Columbian Club, and after some little discussion, as association was formed, to be known as the Library Club of Payette Valley, Miss Grothe being elected secretary. Some 44 signatures have been secured already and application has been made for the libraries. As the minutes of the meeting only came to hand at about the hour of going to press, we have to defer a more extended notice of the new organization until next week.
