COLONEL PATCH HOME Lieutenant Colonel L. V. Patch unexpectedly dropped in Tuesday evening for a few days at home before leaving for his duties on the firing line. The Colonel never looked finer than he does now, not withstanding the fact he has lost in flesh due to the continued and strenuous training for service in artillery work. His explanation of the work at the training camps and the efficient manner in which those large guns are operated is certainly marvelous. He will leave in a few days for New York from which place he will soon go across and be ready for action.
