W. G. Whitney has his evaporating plant in operation at his nursery.  The plant 
was installed in the large packing house building, the work having been in 
charge of H. C. Rice, an experienced evaporator man of NorthYamhill, Wash.  It 
has a capacity of over six tons daily and is first class in all respects.  The 
evaporator will accommodate a considerable amount of this season’s fruit.
