The house was opened a little sooner than has been expected. Many improvements in its arrangement are yet to be made. Landlord McNamee appears to be thoroughly up to his business and feels encouraged with the outlook. We call attention to the professional card of Dr. James Murphy in this issue of THE INDEPENDENT. Dr. Murphy comes to Idaho from Sherman, New York, where he had been in practice for 15 years. He is a graduate of the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania and a post graduate of the University of Buffalo. He was former assistant physician to the Philadelphia Lying-in. The doctor hopes to have his family with him as soon as he can secure a residence. He will have office rooms on the second floor of the bank building. Our leading fruit growers claim that but a little damage was done by the late frosts. A.A. McPherson, state fruit inspector, reports that some of the early peaches and sweet cherries have been slightly damaged, but that apples, pears, prunes and small fruits have escaped and are in fine condition File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/id/payette/newspapers/localnot61gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/idfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
