Local Telephone System.

Through the efforts of some of Payette’s business men our little city is going 
to have a thoroughly equipped local telephone system.  The best instruments and 
heavy cooper wire will be used.  Nearly all the business houses and a number of 
residences have already signified a willingness to become patrons of the 
system.  The stringing of the wire will proceed as soon as it arrives.
