The fire raged along the Payette river lowlands for the most part, doing slight damage to pasture land. After destroying approximately 400 acres, the Trail creek fire on the head waters of the middle fork of the Salmon river in the Idaho national forest, was reported under control as a result of the efforts of 60 men who have battled the fire since Monday. The crew will be released soon, said word from the fire front. The supervisor of the Idaho forest is at the blaze directing the men.
