Robert Ludwig and Thomas Ireton have been having trouble over a small piece of 
land which belongs to Wm. Ireton.  Last Friday Ludwig swore out a complaint 
against Thomas Ireton, charging him with assault with a deadly weapon.  The 
case was tried to a jury in Judge Driscoll’s court on Saturday, Wm. Miller, the 
Ontario lawyer, appearing for the prosecution and J. J. Rogers for the 
defendant.  After hearing the evidence and argument of council, the jury 
decided that Ireton was not guilty.
