Mart Connyers Has Serious Accident
 
Word was received last Tuesday by telephone, that Mart Connyers, who has been 
working for the big saw-mill company, in getting out logs near Cascade, had 
been caught between two logs, crushing one of his legs so badly that an 
amputation will be necessary.  Unfortunately at this time the track is blocked 
with snow and no trains are running.  It is thought however, that by today, 
the trains will be in operation.  He will be taken to Boise for treatment.  
His father, J. H. Connyers, who is in Payette, will meet them in Emmett.
