K. girls were hostesses at a miscellaneous shower given in honor of Miss Elizabeth Johnson, at the home of Alice Perry. A five course supper was served on small tables at 7:30 o'clock. Asters were used in decorating the rooms, and small baskets of pink and white sweet peas and fern were used on the tables. After supper "500" was played. Miss May Genoway captured the prize for high score which was a small cut glass bowl. She presented it to Miss Johnson. Later in the evening the bride-elect was blind-folded and then told to draw in the small decorated wagon that contained many beautiful and useful shower gifts. About twenty-five were present.
