More Timber Locaters.  

A party of Payette Valley people including B. F. Bartch, A. J. Barney, Mr. and 
Mrs. H. R. Piper, S. W. Hickerson, N. Wallace and Mrs. E. Ransom left Payette 
last Friday for Myrtle Creek, Oregon, in which vicinity they intended to file 
on timber claims.  The party was led by Mr. Bartch who was there a number of 
weeks ago with a previous party of people from this valley who located timber 
claims.  

Mr. Bartch stated that they were securing exceptionally fine timber and that 
there were sawmills located within a few miles of the claims and that there was 
no doubt the timber would be a valuable thing to have in that country in a few 
years.
