MOTHER AND SON SENT TO ASYLUM

Mrs. Jane Hurley and son, Ray Hurley, of this city, who have lately resided in 
the Coughanour block, were taken before Judge Varion last Friday where they 
were both adjudged fit subjects for the Blackfoot asylum and were taken there 
last Sunday by one of the asylum guards and his wife.  Mrs. Hurley is past 79 
years of age.  It is believed they were both victims of improper use of opium 
or some other narcotic.
