The excavations have been made for the handsome church edifice to be erected by the Baptist church on the sight formerly occupied by their old building at the corner of Boise street and Grand avenue. We have been shown the plans for the building by Pastor T. S. Dulin. It is to be 51x59 feet on the foundation. The auditorium will be 38x38, with annex or lecture room and three small compartments embracing a floor space 19x38. There will be entrances to the vestibule from both Boise street and Grand avenue. The building is to be of brick and the perspective drawing is very pleasing to the eye. The plans were presented to the building committee by Wm. Noot, the well-known civil engineer and draughtsman of this city.
