NEW FIRM OPEN FOR BUSINESS SATURDAY
 
Gorham Mercantile Loading Shelves with Big Supply New Goods
 
The Gorham Mercantile company employees are busy this week unpacking and 
shelving the biggest lot of goods ever shipped into Fruitland at one time 
before.  while the store is now open and doing business it is planned to 
continually add to the stock until the Fruitland store is made one of the most 
complete general merchandise stores in this section of the Payette valley.
 
B. F. Bohannon will manage the business and J. C. Himler, formerly with the 
Fruitland mercantile company has accepted a position with the firm.
