K. BALLENGER ELECTED MANAGER OF PAYETTE VALLEY REX SPRAY CO. At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Payette Valley Rex Spray Company, on last Friday evening, F. E. Seeley, former manager of the institution, who is soon to leave for Toledo, Ohio, tendered his resignation, and by the unanimous vote of the directors present L. K. Ballenger who has been in the employ of the company for the past ten years was made manager of the company. Mr. Ballenger who began his duties with the company as “barrel heaver” at the factory ten years ago, has worked his way up familiarizing himself with every detail of the workings of the institution and is thoroughly qualified to fill the positions to which he has been elected. Mr. Seeley in tendering his resignation is not severing his connections with the Rex Spray Companies, but goes to a higher position as manager of the Rex Research Corporation, a new company recently organized to handle foreign distribution and research work of the Toledo Rex Spray Co., and its allies in other parts of the United States and Canada. Mr. Seeley expects to leave for Toledo within a few days to take up work with the new company, leaving his family in Payette until about June first.
