The first gun of this presidential campaign will be fired on next Wednesday night. Come out. Mr. Ringer, our popular road overseer, has been furnishing our soft-muscled townsmen a physical developer the past week. The average business man in New Plymouth will work out his own poll tax, and this can be said of very few other towns. The peach orchards around New Plymouth this year are to be greatly admired. The peach is surly the queen of the orchard, and when eating of these luscious specimens our thoughts naturally turn in pity to our eastern friends who are less fortunate than we. Mr. Albert, secretary of the school board, thinks the idea of holding special dedication exercises at the new school building a good one, and says the matter will receive attention at the next meeting of the board.
