M. Satoris, Payette, Idaho, carried the largest and most complete line of harness and saddles in Idaho. Everything guaranteed first-class. Mrs. A. C. Ringer is working up two good plays for the early part of March, both to be given on the same evening, and for the benefit of the cemetery. C. E. Brainard has some very desirable orchard and acreage property close to Payette or New Plymouth on easy terms. Now is the time to secure a home. Mr. Wachter and daughters entertained at euchre Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Ringer, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burke and Miss Chadwick were the guests. Mr. Truman will move to his claim at Caldwell this week. L. B. Mackison will farm the former's place on the bench, and Mr. Mackison's successor on the Sherbin place is James Boor. A meeting will be held at the Congregational church next Tuesday evening to discuss means of providing at once a parsonage for our new minister and his wife. All those interested are urged to come out. Rev. and Mrs. Clyde W. Greenlee are now with the people of Plymouth for good. Pending the completion of the new parsonage they are occupying rooms at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Hinchliff. Mrs. Mike Mahoney, we regret to say, had been declining in health for some time, and on Wednesday Mr. Mahoney accompanied her to the Baker City hospital. We hope to hear of her early improvement. Mr. and Mrs. Fred. P. French are submitting plans to the contractors for a new country residence, which will cost not less than $4,000. It is to be of the bungalow pattern, and will be an ornament to the Valley View neighborhood. W. S. Hinchliff put up a hundred tons of ice this week which he will use for cold storage. Mr. Hinchliff is planning quite an elaborate plant in which to store fruit, eggs, fish and other products through the hot summer months. This is a move in the right direction. A rumor is afloat that the United States government intends to buy up hay on the Payette bench to feed the horses working on the government ditch, which will be started this year. Hay will, in this event bring $5 per ton, or more, for the next three years. Mrs. R. B Downing, of Great Falls, Montana, a sister of Mr. Walter Burke, is expected to arrive soon to select one of our choice boulevard lots, upon which she and her husband expect to build a fine home. Mr. Downing is roadmaster on the Great Northern railroad. Phone in the news. Candy for the children at Creasey's. For farm loans apply to W. M. Wayman. George Young is on the sick list this week. Twenty shares of upper ditch stock for sale. Inquire at this office. W. J. Browner and family moved to the DeSmedt place this week. Mr. and Mrs. Flagg and Mrs. Lynch and Irl are victims of the grip. C. E. Brainard has plenty of money to loan on Payette valley farms. Still in the market for grain. Highest market price. J.F. Creasey. Henry Hanigan has been nursing a severe case of the grip this week. We are still in doubt about having our Farmers' Institute this winter. The Outlook and the Payette Valley Enterprise, both one year for $1.85. J. F. Creasey and Constable Boor journeyed down to Payette, yesterday. Mr. M. C. Newton left yesterday for Boise after a visit with Mr. Hill's family. Mrs. F. D. Copley, of Payette, sister of Mrs. W. E. Hill, spent last week on the bench. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Mackinson celebrated their sixteenth marriage anniversary today. For improved or unimproved farm land in the Payette valley inquire of C. E. Brainard. C. E. Brainard has several hundred acres of partly improved land to lease on very favorable terms. S. T. Irwin, the telephone manager, filed on a government claim, one mile south of Harvey Beans this week. Fresh eggs will be taken in exchange for shoes, rubber goods, harness or anything in my line. F. M. Satoris Dr. Drysdale accompanied Ed Cox on a trip to Emmett last Tuesday, where the former visited one of hs college friends. F. M. The Ladies' Aid Society treated the Pinafore actors to a dainty midnight luncheon at Mr. Shaw's after the performance, Friday evening. Mrs. Campbell, Alice Shaw, P. R. Ketchum and Mrs. Bates have all been down with the popular malady this week. Mrs. Florence Hall, of Burke, Idaho, daughter of Mrs. J. M. Gould, arrived Saturday, in company with Mr. Stewart. Mr. Madden is still at the beside of his wife, whose chances for a recovery are growing less each day. Misses Leitha, Holmes, Aiden, Lynch and Messrs. Fuller and Huey, were among the Payette visitors to New Plymouth last Friday evening, the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lynch. They were well pleased with Pinafore. Through the desire of some of the boys interesting a meeting will be held next Monday for the purpose of discussing and effecting a physical and mental culture club in New Plymouth. The organization is much needed in our town, and a big representation of the boys -- young and old -- is desired at the meeting Monday night at Creasey's hall.
