It was the annual installation of officers of the M. W. A. The public was first invited to the lodge hall when J. R. Field, an installing officer, and George Boor, as chief forester, made the new officers acquainted with their respective stations. After leaving the lodge hall the crowd moved over to the town hall, where three large tables were spread with nearly everything imaginable to eat. These were waited on by several of the young and fleet- footed Woodman boys who carefully provided for the wants of the more than one- hundred guest present. After supper a good social meeting was enjoyed and later on the young folks amused themselves with dancing. The new officers are as follows: Venerable counsel, I. N. Baker; worth adviser, Homer Anderson; banker, Ed Cox; escort, A. W. Whiting; clerk, I. Wachter; watchman, B. F. Ackerman; sentry, Joe G. Slone; directors, 1 year, J. M. Noyes; 2 years, Fred Creasey.
