This colony is composed of a very superior class of people. None of them are dependent; all have means, and they will at once become an influential factor in the life of the valley. Such a colony, if successful, as this one certainly will be, will draw a great many other settlers to the state. People of that kind have multitudes of friends who are ready to profit by their experience and advice. Two hundred families coming under such circumstances will be the means of bringing a thousand other families during the next two or three years. Moreover, these people are of the most enterprising character and they are more than likely to teach their neighbors many things respecting the possibilities of the region in which they locate. New blood is always a good thing when it comes from a good source, and in this respect the Payette valley is most fortunate in securing these Plymouth colonists.
