Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Thayer and their son, who lately moved to Payette and are living in the S. C. Tracy property on the West Side, are substantial additions to the residents of Payette. They came from Aneta, North Dakota, and expect to make this city their permanent home. Mr. Thayer was the present of Aneta at the time of his leaving. The Aneta Panorama speaks of Mr. and Mrs. Thayer’s departure as follows: Col. and Mrs. Geo. F. Thayer departed last Monday evening for their new home in Payette, Idaho. A large crowd and also the Queen City band were at the depot to bid them farewell. The Colonel and his esteemed wife will be greatly missed here, but what is our loss is another’s gain and the Panorama with everyone who knew them, wishes them prosperity in their new home.
