B W. Crain, the Dorchester, Neb., immigration agent, who has been very successful in locating many families in the Payette Valley from his section of country, arrived the first part of last week with another party. It was composed of William Hook and family and his father, Henry Hook, Marion Jones and Mrs. Flagg and children, Mr. Flagg having come in several days previous with a carload of goods. Mr. William Hook with his family and father now occupies a residence of N. A. Jacobsen on the east end of Mill street, while Mr. Flagg and family will reside upon a farm at New Plymouth. Mr. Jones is a carpenter and will work at his trade in the Payette Valley for several months at least and many later decide to locate permanently.
