It was an occasion long to be remembered by the twenty-three guests present. The gentlemen didn't have their wives present to worry and critize them and felt free to enjoy themselves as they saw fit. The guests were seated in groups at card tables and entered into a spirited contest for honors in the games of flinch, euchre, and progressive duplicate whist. Gus Ingalls served the guests throughout the evening with refreshments -- the choicest ever served in town -- and did his part to the queen's taste. Those present were; Messrs. J. M. Shaw, C. S. French, B. F. Swatman, F. S. Stevens, A. H. Sundles, J. H. Hanigan, George Ackerman, Walter Burks, A. C. Ringer, A. W. Whiting, D. W. Cox, J. R. Field, John Ackerman, Geo. W.Wilson, Joe Platz, T. D. French, A. Meyer, B. C. Whitaker, W. E. Hill, I. N. Baker.
