O. E. S. INSTALLATION
 
Lorraine Chapter, No. 20, Tuesday evening, Dec. 18th, installed the following 
officers for the ensuing year:
W. M., Carrie Pence,
W. P., M. E. McDonald,
A. M., Grace Bradshaw,
A. Cond., Elsie Oldham,
Chap., May E. McGlinchey,
Marshal, Anna White,
Organist, Jennie Peterson,
Ada, Millie Sturdevant,
Ruth, Pearl Lyon,
Esther, Ruth Shaw,
Martha, Mattie Gilmore,
Electa, Linda Hurd,
War, Ethel Farber
Sen., Earl Farber.
 
This meeting was the crowning event of the year just closed; largest 
attendance for some time and the first time during the year that refreshments 
were in order, also probably the last time until peace reigns.  Mrs. Lura 
Smith, Past Worthy Matron, deserves much credit in conducting the 
installation, in that she did it all from memory, needing neither book or 
prompting; and another unusual occurrence, that of daughter installing her 
father.  She was the recipient of a very beautiful pin.  Mrs. McGlinchey 
making the presentation, expressing the sentiment of the chapter, the latter 
also surprising all with her ability as a musician.
