R. Woodward today, she having been very sick for several days with appendicitis. Henry Heimie, who went from here a few days ago to the Whitney & Dunn's log drive about 60 miles above Emmett, was caught by the logs in some way breaking one leg in two places and bruising or breaking the other. Dr. R. D. Hervey and wife and Rev. Hervey, who have been visiting their nephew, C. B. Coxe, for a week or more, returned to Chicago on this evening's train. The Payette high school football team goes to Caldwell Friday when they will play the Boise high school team. Claud Deck, a prosperous wool grower of Crane creek, was in Payette a short time today coming from the Canyon county fair. Geo. V. Leighton of Boise was in town this afternoon.
