A black horse and a saddle, bridle and spurs were taken this morning from James Filley, who was camped near the country bridge. A few days ago Christ Henricksen lost one from the Washo pasture. Thomas E. Jones has just commenced the foundation for an 8-room residence in Melcher's addition. N.A. Jacobsen commenced this morning the foundation for a large addition to his Boise street building. It will be brick with 30 foot front. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pence returned last night from an outing. W. D. Shamberger and family from Shoshone are visiting with J.O. Shamberger for a few days. Rev. J. J. Davey and wife, Miss Bradley and Miss M. Franklin went on the excursion yesterday to the coast. D. C. Chace has gone to Pocatello where he will assist in laying the cornerstone of the new Masonic temple.
