The absence of the band has been keenly felt by the people of Payette. Our evening concerts have been missed, not only by the people of Payette, but by the farmers who come to town on Saturday evening to enjoy a little recreation and to meet and mingle with the people. We are pleased to announce, however, that the Payette Band is being revived. Mr. Maule who has had the management of the band for several years has taken the matter up with a few of the band boys what are here, and others who are able to assist and as a result a hall has been provided for and some 15 members have organized themselves into a band and are making fine progress but they need a leader and some assistance from the people of Payette, a good band is an asset to any town and we believe these members should be encouraged by the help of the people, they are in shape right now to give us good Saturday evening concerts. Will we give them a boost. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/id/payette/newspapers/payetteb528gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/idfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
