Payette, Sept. 11
 
The Republican primary held yesterday for delegates to the county convention 
at Parma on September 16 was very spirited.  Two tickets were out and the 
advocates of each were out hustling, which resulted in 230 votes being cast.  
James Hutchinson, Will Wells, Burt Venable, E.E. Hunter, D. W. Alney, J. A. 
Lauer, F. A. Smith, H. H. McMannis, N. A. Jacobsen, B. R. Hart, F. A. 
Crowthers, W. P. Ackerman and F. M. Sartoris were elected.
 
Prof. A. M. Rowe has arrived and school will commence Monday, the 22nd.
