W. Leek and children went to Nampa last evening. W. A. Coughanour went to Pocatello on this morning's train. ?. J. Morton and family accompanied by Thomas Largent and family, arrived from Carthage, Mo., this morning. Mrs. Emma Hamilton who has been visiting her parents here for some time returned to Silver City this evening. The rumor circulated yesterday that Mrs. T. R. Hubbard was dangerously sick is not correct, as Mr. Hubbard reports this morning that she is much better and getting along nicely and in no ways in danger. The sale of D. S. Lamme's mercantile business, reported some days ago, is all off. Mr. F. C. Lewis, the purchases, was called back east on account of sickness. H. M. Green of Ogden, came in on No. 3 yesterday. Miss M. Alice Bartch, daughter of Judge Bartch of Salt Lake, who has been visiting friends here for some time, returned to Salt Lake today.
