H. Taylor and wife left on today's east-bound train for Buffalo and the Pan American exposition. S. W. Ashton and family of Center, Cal. arrived this morning with a car load of household goods and farming machinery. Mrs. Ashton is a grand-child of Rev. T. Lydston. J. W. Reed was brought in last night from the Crane Creek country, having been hurt by a vicious horse, while branding its colt. The animal made a rush at Mr. Reed, biting him on the shoulder and striking him on the knee with her foot. Mrs. Claud Deck, who has been visiting friends, returned to Council on this afternoon's train.
