Ice cream was served while the young folks danced. The Baptist people held a social at F. F. Hurd's two miles out, last evening, that was enjoyed by all. John Conyers, a former resident of Payette, but now of Long Valley near Van Wyck, came in yesterday and reports that the freeze damaged the hay crop one- half. D. W. Ashton and family have gone to Indian Valley and Crane Creek looking for a homestead. The directors of the Payette Valley Creamery company held a meeting last night for the purpose of levying an assessment to liquidate the indebtedness.
