PAYETTE NEWS
 
Payette, March 30 -- Walter Hedrick of Nevada is here to buy sheep.  He wants 
50,000 ewes if they can be bought.
 
C. E. Brainard reports the sale of the Harader place price $4000.
 
S. A. Douglas and I. F. (unreadable) have each bought 40 acres on the bench at 
$35 per acre.  They will put in 25 acres of beets.
 
Mrs. B. Magner and family from Gardner, Ia., arrived this morning.  They will 
occupy the new farm recently purchased by Mr. Magner.
 
C. H. Roberts who came out on the last excursion, is here with a party of home 
seekers.
 
The ladies of the Presbyterian church gave an ice cream social and 
entertainment in Lamme hall last night.
