J. A. Lauer shipped a car of brick to Caldwell. Mrs. T. H. Lydston is still confined to her room with a dislocated ankle. Sam Hobson and C. H. Wells were in from Little Willow, selling dressed mutton at 7 cents per pound. Miss Cora Stewart of Riverside, Ore., was the guest of Mrs. H. Helmic yesterday. Charles Hester of Sauk Rapids, Minn., is looking over our valley for a location. Rev. T. S. Dulin returned today from Owyhee, where he held funeral services over the remains of Miss Alice Morey, who died of diphtheria.
